One child, two-year-old Owen Buell, missed his trip home to Joliet for his birthday party. Owen is fighting stage four neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that attacks the organs, chest, stomach, and bones of young children. Because of the looting and subsequent lockdown, Owen and his family could not safely leave the Ronald McDonald House.
"The whole door was shattered and it looked like a bullet hole, so I started freaking out thinking about how unsafe that was," Owen's mother Valerie Mitchell said. "You shouldn’t feel that way when your kid needs medical care. You shouldn’t be afraid to walk a few blocks down the street."
On Tuesday, an organizer for the Chicago chapter of Black Lives Matter, an avowed Marxist organization bent on tearing down the American system, said that the looting was justified.

Dwayne Stanton stood on the Smith County Courthouse steps Saturday at noon and asked a group of close to 50 motorcycle riders and onlookers to pray before a Back the Blue ride.
Not everyone knew what was going through Stanton’s mind during his silence as he bowed his head. Stanton’s wife is a police officer.
“I see the stress that she goes through everyday,” he said, getting on his motorcycle on South Broadway in Tyler. “Not knowing if someone is going to take a shot at her from across the street just because she’s a police officer. I never worried so much before when she would leave for work. Now, I worry every single day and it’s stressful for all of us.”
Across the nation, a Back the Blue ride took place at noon, organized by the Micro Dot Helmet Company in Fort Worth.
Stanton asked for prayers for all employees and volunteers who work in emergency services. He asked everyone to pray for elected politicians to make sound decisions. His message was not political, there were no weapons displayed and the motorcycles flew the American Flag.
“This was a great, respectful and spiritual event,” he said of the ceremony. “We all came together and had the same frame of mind, we need to pray for, and give support, to police officers.”
As for President Trump and other elected officials, he said, “They are human, too. They are just trying to do their job. There’s no position here, we are just a group of friendly bikers who like to ride, it’s a hobby.”

Harris was the only DA among those from the top 50 metropolitan cities not to lay charges against clergy for sexual abuse, said Schweizer, reflecting on Harris’s tenure as the San Francisco DA between 2004 and 2011.
Schweizer stated, “The numbers are pretty stunning. From 2004 to 2011, Kamala Harris was the San Francisco [district attorney] responsible for all prosecutions and the prosecution team in the San Francisco area. Victims’ rights groups criticized Harris’s suppression of the documents detailing allegations of sexual abuse against priests, Schweizer noted.
“The victims’ rights groups snapped,” Schweizer remarked. “Some of the other groups went absolutely ballistic, and you can understand why. Kamala Harris claimed that she sealed those records to protect victims. The victims call that outrageous and wrong. They used language that I couldn’t use on radio.”
Schweizer determined, “The bottom line is [Harris] has a terrible, atrocious record on this specific issue, and it’s a little bit baffling because she proclaims to be somebody who’s a victim’s advocate, but she has this horrible record of covering up and failing to prosecute these crimes.”

So apparently Mr. Love (guy in Portland who kicked defenseless guy in head) has been arrested and charged with 3 felonies.. Attempted murder not being one of the charges.. wonder why.. I suspect that the DA will not press charges and he will be out on the street by noon today Portland time.
Yep, and I just watched a video on YouTube of the attack on the "Straight Pride" parade in Boston...don't know the date...people engaged in the very peaceful parade, minding their own business, were viciously attacked by leftist thugs. There were 36 arrests, with 30 released within a few hours, 6 of the more violent were held in custody overnight. The next day in court the DA's office, the frickin' prosecution, asked for a motion of dismissal of all charges! That is what the defense attorney is supposed to ask for. The judge thought the DA dyke was nutso and denied the motion. Then it appeared it pissed him off so he ordered the 6 violent POS held without bail, hah! The looks on the faces of the young defendants was priceless. One said, "I can't stay, I'm due back in my mommy's basement soon." OKAY...I made that up, but it is probably close to the truth. So there was a guy who was shot by police in Wisconsin over the weekend. BLM has protested every night since and burned much of this small Wisconsin town. The perp(victim) had a record of violent criminal activity. He was holding a knife, and tasers had no effect on him. He refused to comply with police demands and was shot.. Why do people think they do not need to comply with police demands and just ignore them?
