Re: Shuttle Info for A&M Game?
Thanks for posting that SportTechFan. It seems that guy is trying to scare the bejesus out of the A&M fans and the blue-haired Tech fans..... makes no sense! Safety will NOT be an issue unless you just wanna take a stroll in the neighborhood with hundred dollar bill falling out of your pocket. Hell, you wouldn't even make it out my neighborhood doing that!

Haven't see this posted. I know it's been said but this is official.

"Fans are reminded that all parking around Independence Stadium is paid parking and that no shuttle system will be running for this contest. Parking passes can be purchased by contacting the State Fair office at 318-635-1361. Fans can purchase parking in the White Lot ($25) or Silver Lot ($20) or can choose to park in the general parking area ($10) located on the east side of the fairgrounds between the baseball stadium and Hirsch Coliseum. RVs can purchase a parking spot in the Green Lot ($50). "

WTH? :shocked2:
That 2-hour wait in traffic --just to get OUT OF THE FREAKING PARKING LOT-- after the 2008 Indy Bowl must have been a figment of my imagination. :icon_roll:

The problem is that there is no pre-planning on how the flow of traffic should be directed. They just have some cop standing in as a human traffic light.
Regarding the Grambling game, traffic was slow because of the boneheads in their donks (see image below) acting an ass.

I don't remember there being as big of an issue with the Indy bowl as there was with the Grambling game. The traffic getting out of the PCC was absolutely terrible.

Excuse me....you are correct. It was the GRAMBLING vs LA Tech game where the traffic was absolutely unacceptable after the game. I swear, the Girl Scouts could have done a better job of directing traffic.

Yep.. My car was actually in 'Park' for 45 minutes. I got out and walked about half a mile to see what the hell was the hold-up and saw nothing.

That's why I cringed when I saw those comments from oletimer. He obviously lives out of state, and knows not of what he speaks.

It's the young kids with spinners rims holding up traffic.

I would say they are more like the Keystone cops! It took us 2 hours to get out of there too. As for there not being trouble in that area before or after a game... maybe not, but there were shootings in that area last week.
Re: Shuttle Info for A&M Game?
I posted after the Grambling game, we were home in Natchitoches 90 mins after the final seconds ticked off the clock. I posted back then how it can be done, and was attacked and impuned and called names. So, I will not post the "secret" again. Y'all just deal with this crap that comes from playing in S'port. This game should have been in Ruston, or not scheduled at all.
