Did you have a good crowd??

Dooley said there were about 75 to 100 people. I saw 40 online on the guest list, and Adam McGuirt said about 15 or so extra people showed up that hadn't been on the list. Who knows? I don't know what a decent crowd would be. It was bigger than last year, but it always needs to get a LOT larger. We don't have NEARLY enough LTAC members in this metro area.
I wonder what these ppl do when they get a LTAC brochure?
I was dissapointed he didn't do the sound effects. I was really looking forward to that. I did get a chance to chat with him and he seems like a great guy. We are really lucky to have him. Hopefully my buddy that I brought will join LTAC. He also mentioned maybe joining the message board so maybe we will see him on here soon.
Guys,
Can they really build that in the end zone in less than 4 months?????
DFiH
you can build a big house in 6 months. If much of it is being constructed offsite and the brickwork is most of what will be done on site...I'd say yes, they can do it in 4 months or less.
Dooley did make a strange noise when talking about the sound system that is also being updated.:icon_razz:
just attended the tech tour stop in alexandria. dooley said that work on the jumbotron was beginning today (may 13, 2009). so someone in the ruston area can maybe drive by and give us a heads up as to what you see.
i just drove by at 2 p.m. and saw some equipment but none of it was moving. the gates to the north end zone were open however.
I'm not sure what the ground is like over there...but with all the rain we've been having, my yard is soft and soggy.
The ground is pretty soft where they're installing the video board. I was doing that stupid "throw the nerf ball in the PT cruiser" contest this season and they got the thing stuck on the little hill behind the end zone. The car created some pretty nice ruts with no effort.
By the way, those little halftime games are rigged by physics so that you just look like an ass and cannot win. Haha.
Update: The north end scoreboard is gone. Only the supports remain.
