Left-wing BLM activist charged in Capitol riot after saying he was just there to 'document'
John Sullivan told Fox News last week he regularly attends and takes video at protests.

A left-wing activist who told Fox News last week that he’d followed a pro-Trump mob into the Capitol in order to "document" the siege is now the subject of a criminal complaint in connection with his alleged participation, according to the U.S. Justice Department.

John Sullivan can allegedly be heard egging on protesters in video he provided to the FBI, according to a federal criminal complaint. He has also shared the video to his YouTube and Twitter accounts under the pseudonym Jayden X.

He was charged Thursday in federal court in Washington after being arrested by the FBI. He remains in custody in Toeele County, in his home state of Utah, on a U.S. Marshals Service hold request.


BLM ACTIVIST INSIDE CAPITOL CLAIMS HE WAS 'DOCUMENTING' RIOTS, ONCE SAID 'BURN IT ALL DOWN'

Inside the building, he told rioters that "We got to get this s--- burned," and "it’s our house m------------," according to an affidavit signed by FBI Special Agent Matthew Foulger.

He faces federal charges of civil disorder, entering a restricted building and violent entry or disorderly conduct.

Sullivan also allegedly told Foulger that he had been in the Capitol during the riot, entering through a broken window while wearing a ballistic vest.

As protesters climbed over a wall near the Capitol entrance, he allegedly exclaimed in the video, "You guys are f------ savage. Let’s go!"

"There are so many people," Sullivan’s voice can be heard saying as the camera shows a large group of people making its way toward the building. "Let’s go. This s--- is ours! F-- yeah. I can’t believe this is reality."

"We accomplished this s---," he said at another point "We did this together. F--- yeah! We are all a part of this history."

I didn’t say the organization was upstanding, just that they didn’t trust Sullivan and therefore disassociated themselves with him.

You are conflating the social justice cause and the organization. I have distinguished the two. Most folks when they say BLM are talking about the cause, not the organization that trademarked it and claim to lead it.

I also have not stood up for Antifa, and you know it.

You laughed off Antifa many times. Not taking them serious is standing up for them. They have always been a serious threat.

Find the post where i supported the organization. I didn’t. I support one, and only one, of their causes.

Laughing off Antifa is hardly the same as standing up for them. They are not nearly the big deal that right wing media makes of them. “They” have no organization, and as far as I can tell only one death has happened in their cause. Foxnews gives it more proportionally more coverage than coronavirus that is killing 400000 times more people.

Antifa and Trumpism have a lot in common in that these are Americans radicalizing, like Jihadists, around certain narratives. The difference is that Trumpism has a leader to hold accountable.

Yeah, that is why they have 21,000 national guard positioned in and around it (roughly four times the number of American troops currently deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq combined).
