I like ya C&K, but I have to take exception to this. I don't OWE a thing to either the Dems or the Reps. I'll vote my conscience, and if that's a vote for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein or Batman ... it's a vote for that individual and for nobody else. If either of the 'major' parties want my vote, then they can nominate somebody who's neither an evil genius (eg. Gore, Obama, Hillary), nor an evil doofus (eg. GWB, Trump, Cruz).
I didn't say you "owe" anything. I don't see that anywhere in there. I did say your vote will be wasted and it will- and it will help Hillary. When you have a third party candidate that can win it will be different- that is not the case now.

Besides someone like you who has Ralph Nader's personal flip phone number, many others aren't aware of who 3rd party candidates might be. Blame that on corporate media if you must but the lion's share falls back on the 3rd party doofuses.
The Shelby County Libertarian Party held their caucus at Swanky's Taco Shop, which does not have a conference room. They just pulled some tables together. Doofuses.

Really? Cuz my Dem friends insist that my 3rd party vote will only serve to help the Donald.
The only wasted vote is the one cast for the candidate you don't think is the best.

So? Tacos are awesome and so is Ralph Nader.
How much do you need a given party to entertain you with media antics and attention-getting devices before you would consider the merits of its platform?

Vote For Trump! He'll make all your dreams come true and America great again. I'm serious.

A "lion's share" and two "doofus" references in one post. Coincidence or just because Clyde was addressing 967 and had those things on his mind?

I'm not sold that America is any more or less great than it ever was. I'm serious.

I agree if you look at it on a sliding world scale.

We need at least 4 parties to get things right. We need 3rd party candidates to campaign all the time, not show up at the taco shop in an election year.
For the 2012 presidential election, the Libertarians held their gatherings (wouldn't call them meetings) at Neil's Bar and Grill which I visited almost daily until it burned down. They gathered around a table in the back bar and plotted how to not pay taxes without going to jail. So I guess a caucus at the taco shop is a step up. They may get it right in 20 or 30 years.

If you don't think it is worse, then you must have a really good job and a fantastic insurance policy.....and you are not afraid of being shot by one of the thousands of Syrian refugees that Obozo and lying Hillary want to let into the country.!!!!!! I agree with Chris Christie in regard to Hillary...lock her up, lock her up, lock her ass up!!!
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Hillary has already proven she is a habitual liar. BOTH she and Bill Clinton have lied to Congress!! Their entire family has ZERO CREDIBILITY!! Sure she has experience. The problem is....she has FU_KED UP everything she has done. Name two good things she did for the USA while Secretary Of State!!!.......things that actually worked out well!!! She is above the law...are you???? She should be taken to the square and horeswhipped!!!!

I totally agree. Our county is WAY worse now than it was before- both economically and socially. Never in my lifetime have we seen the all out hunting of police officers like animals with encouragement from our "leaders". We have the most corrupt leadership in my lifetime, and more people sitting on their butts waiting for others to take care of them. I am not a Christie fan, but he had a great speech last night! He was right on about Hillary. I worked at a job for years that people were fired when they no longer qualified for a secret clearance- and yet Hillary would have access to all our secrets that she so carelessly "guarded" before. There is no way to say we aren't worse now than we were 8 years ago, but God help us, we can't afford more of the same!
