Crazy how many guys walk out of a public restroom without washing their hands.
Re: Comments That Don't Warrant A Thread
How do the zombies on tv & movies always manage to keep their clothes on? You'd think they'd eventually get their clothes snagged on a branch or something ...
It's not that I want to see naked zombies. You just think there'd be more.
Also, why don't any wild animals ever attack the zombies? Predators and scavengers consume carrion everyday. And in a battle between a single zombie and a puma (or even a flock of buzzards), I think the animal(s) would have the advantage.
Re: Comments That Don't Warrant A Thread
maybe the animals turn into zombies before they finish their meal?

Love it when the server in a restaurant comes by the table in latex gloves and offers to refill drinks. Only problem is that she held them against her chest as she walked to the counter. Nice try, but I bet that's not quite the idea.

I wasn't that close. She was at the complete opposite end of the aisle. I nearly took out a shelf full of potato chips as I wheeled around to run out before I saw too much.

"you should not be so negative" is a wonderfully ironic statement.

For Marketdawg... The bolded post from Brian 6 years ago probably had the most impact on me.

Congrats on quitting and staying quit for so long!

Doing sunflower seeds a little, but the salt can't be much better for me than the nicotine was. I've got to get a handle on the weight gain issue. Even though I feel better, I've gained a few in the last few weeks.

At least the sunflower seeds won't rape and pillage your gums and throat like chewing tobacco will.
My grandfather was a smoker until the 60s or 70s. He worked shifts, and he got home after a 3-11 one night, out of cigarettes. There were no 24-hour convenience stores at that time and place, and his craving kept him up all night. True to his character, instead of buying cigs when the shops opened, he got pissed! He was NOT going to let something have that much control over him!
Unfortunately, he switched to chewing tobacco, which eventually led to the throat cancer that killed him at a fairly young (considering his otherwise good health and activity level) age of 77.

Several years ago I forgot my snuff going to the duck blind and I was the only dipper in the group. I walked back to the four wheeler, rode to the camp, and got my snuff. Missed the first hour of shooting time. The stuff I had to walk through to get in and out of the blind was undescribable. 6" of water and 30" of mud. It was tough! I got my nicotine fix though.:o
