• Florida Atlantic - lost to Long Beach State - 1 loss
• Southern Miss - beat South Alabama - 1 win, 0 losses

Saturday, June 4th

• Rice - game delayed from Friday, delayed Saturday - Rice leads 4-1 in top of 7th
• Louisiana Tech - game delayed from Friday, lost to Cal State Fullerton - 1 loss
• Florida Atlantic - beat Stetson - 1 win, 1 loss
• Louisiana Tech - beat Southeast Missouri State - 1 win, 1 loss
• Southern Miss - playing Florida State on ESPN3 - Florida State 3, USM 2 top 3rd

C-USA is now 3-2 with 2 games still in progress. Both losses were to Big West teams.

MSU wins, 4-1. FINAL.

LA Tech faces CS-Fullerton at 2:30 EST/1:30 CST on Sunday in the elimination game.

I watched the MSU-Fullerton game. LA Tech should beat Fullerton tomorrow. Fullerton just can't score. They don't have the bats.

Yep, watching this game had me scratching my head, wondering how in the world we didn't win.

Tomorrow is going to be a bunting bonanza !!!

Playing Miss State tommorrow night will be tough though. MSU had a couple of players --including their 1st baseman-- who looked like they were 30 years old.

Cause we had two hits.

CSF had 5 hits last night. Miss St had 9.

Timely hitting and great defense by Miss. St was the difference. CSF had a shot to make things interesting when the Miss St 3rd baseman (who had not been playing his best) made a great play to get the out at home and later made a great play to 1st base. IMO that stretch was the difference in the game.

CSF can certainly hit. Our top of the order has got to start hitting well.

That Miss State 3rd baseman has a CANNON for an arm. That late throw he made from outside the 3rd base line all the way to 1st base to get the CSF hitter out was incredible. (I'm sure that's the play you are referring to.)
