Re: We got El A Tech'd again.
Is AT-AT pronounced aye-tee-aye-tee or at at?
Re: We got El A Tech'd again.
I wish all I had to worry about was "El A Tech" vs. "Lah Tech." Much ado about nothing, if you ask me.

Same thing apathetic fans said about LaLaff using Louisiana and UL. Now they have full usage with the blessing of all the UL board presidents.
Re: We got El A Tech'd again.
They are not on par. The El A thingy is more like white T vs. red T. An internal marketing matter.
ULALA using "Louisiana" is an issue on another level.
Re: We got El A Tech'd again.
Apparently, ESPN shortens us to "LaTch" in their app's play-by-play.

Probably the most important question asked on this silly thread.
AT-AT is pronounced "at-at" in Star Wars: Force Commander, and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. They are also called "A-T-A-T"s briefly in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. In Star Wars: Battlefront II both terms are used. However, in Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, it is pronounced "A-T-A-T"
Language at the end!!!

Lucasfilm PR confirmed back in 2010 the proper way of saying it as how it’s spelled: “AT-AT.”

I prefer consistency with AT-ST myself. AT-AT is the only one that works with pronouncing it out.

I guess if you want consistency you have to do that. Because when you get into all of the other variants: AT-AP, AT-ACT, AT-OT, AT-TE, and so on, you just can't pronunce them without saying the letters.
This discussion has been going on since 1981 and the lesson here is people are going to pronunce it how they want to.

Pregame notes say Louisiana Tech would like to be referred to as "LA Tech."
When they move to Los Angeles, I'll be happy to see us do that.
