If you're going to count all the losses, it's only fair to count all the wins.

Maybe Willie "Duck Dynasty" Robertson will pony up some money since he is a graduate of there, although he is more of an "LSU wannabe".
Re: 2020-21 Coaching Carousel
All I want for Christmas is a coach who can win conference championships, get us in the Top 25, and be a serious contender annually for a NY6 bowl berth.
Of course, Santa didn't bring me a Lamborghini SIAN FKP 37 either...:(

I don't believe Roberson graduated, he may have?

Well, first he was Doug Madoski's.
Then he was Kirk Ferentz'.
Holtz got Sokol after he'd been cooked and got a free meal from it. Sokol outplayed Holtz' coaching, never succumbing to it.

Time for another spin....and Herman was supposed to be the savior in Austin. Guess not.
Texas Longhorns' football coach Tom Herman out after 4 seasons (espn.com)

Re: 2020-21 Coaching Carousel
Herman leaves with a $24 million buyout...nice consolation prize. Word is UT will hire Bama OC Steve Sarkesian (sp?). I think the "Hey! look at us!" UT Teasips want to be relevant and think Sarkesian can rescue them. Saban has a way of making assistants successful and relevant when under that Red Elephant umbrella with NFL+ talent. Yes, I mean some talent that is already superior to the average NFL players' talent (if not physical maturity yet to come). Doesn't mean these assistants will be able to duplicate their success at other schools. Heck! we have seen that many times already.
I don't give a rat's butt about UT or its success in football, but as a neutral and somewhat knowledgeable college football fan, I think they should have given Herman another year or two. I smell a mistake brewing in Austin.
Re: 2020-21 Coaching Carousel
The first recent mistake in Austin was to replace Mack Brown with Charlie Strong.

Truth. But Mack's better off. He's got a good thing going now at UNC. He finished 8-3 this season, with two of those losses being by only 3 points each. The other loss was to CFP playoff team Notre Dame.
Sarkisian = Retread
Re: 2020-21 Coaching Carousel
If Sark can stay on the wagon, he’ll be a force.
