Blame it on the Miller Lite. *The official beer of Louisiana Tech Athletics, brought to you by Learfield Sports*

Ah, I see what I did there.
I thought you were from MTSU. Not paying attention. :)

You gave him too much credit.

MT have bigger athletic budgets than that big $16 million budget you're playing with.
C-USA wants Temple for all sports. Historically strong basketball, huge market.
Temple probably won't leave the A-10 because of their local rivals and they're holding out for the Big East.
Middle has superior facilities, budget and fan support, as well as a superior market (Nashville) to Tech. We're also the top all-around athletic program in the Sun Belt.
WKU has better facilities, a top notch basketball program and a football program that has won a I-AA national title in the last decade. They also split the difference between Louisville and Nashville.
UNT is mostly on potential alone, but they've been to a couple of NCAA tourneys lately and are building a new football stadium. Just being a school with 36,000 students in a Top 5 market is enough to merit consideration.
If you want to argue back, that's fine. If you want to call me stupid and not say anything else, that's fine.
I know what I'm talking about.
Where do/did you go to school? Also, I don't understand why you care one way or another whether Louisiana Tech is invited to join C-USA. Care to explain?

Why has Tech already been passed up by CUSA twice?
If we were playing such crappy teams, then why did more people show up to see ULUpick'em and F_U than came to Tech to see Boise, Hawaii and Nevada?
Why are your facilities so bad?
Why is your athletic budget nearly $4 million less than ours, even though you get $500,000 more from your conference?
Why are we on TV more than you?
Why can our AD put together a decent home schedule, yet you played five home games last year and are opening up this year with a neutral-site game against Grambling?
Why do you suck in baseball?
Why can't you win your conference in anything other than women's track and women's basketball?
Why does MT finish light year's ahead of Tech in the Director's Cup standings?
Why did we beat you by four touchdowns the last time MT and Tech played?
I seriously doubt you have spent much time, if any, at Louisiana Tech. Tech is every bit as good a school as any Sunbelt Conference school. I still don't understand why you care what conference Tech is in.

AD's and fans have NO vote...only Presidents.
SMU is private...UNT is public...they don't fight each other for funding for students.
Louisiana Tech Universit is as good a university as Memphis State and would be a fine addition to C-USA. Seems like you would want the conference to improve and the addition of Tech would improve the conference.

after the Tigers stopped using the facility, the Central High Warriors used it as their home field...
after it was torn down, a standard aluminum HS stadium was built for Central to use.

I've never been to the Liberty Bowl, but how far is it away from the Memphis campus?
