Trump tweets : “The Fake News is working overtime. Just reported that, despite the tremendous success we are having with the economy & all things else, 91% of the Network News about me is negative (Fake). Why do we work so hard in working with the media when it is corrupt? Take away credentials?“

It is grossly irresponsible for a President of the US to promote such an anti-free speech ideology, even if he means it as a joke, especially when he knows that he has a sizable base of support that will support him no matter what (even if he shouts someone dead on the street on 5th Avenue).

I am not convinced that white house credentials are covered in the 1A.

The media is a partisan joke. Personally, I would just stop letting them ask questions during the press conferences, because they just spin whatever is said to align with dem talking points anyway. Answering their questions is like answering the proverbial "Do you still beat your wife?" question. I think they have lost most of their credibility during this period because what they've done has not been subtle at all. They are blatant partisans, and they hate Trump because he beat their preferred candidate.

If what you see happening in the country right now is 91% negative, you have just made a conscious decision to be against anything Trump does, which is about as dumb as it gets.

I am not against everything Trump does.

I was referring to the 91% negative press figure. They go out of their way to focus ONLY on negatives (and yes, tweeting stuff like that is a negative).

The problem is that 91% of the time when Trump speaks or tweets, something really stupid (or worse) comes out.

Too much of the "establishment" media, including FOX, is missing the point re: the 2018 mid-term elections. There is this on-going tendency to directly link the (R) candidates to Trump, and both sides are making this mistake. The establishment Republican Party is just as guilty as the Democrap Party, IN THE MINDS OF MILLIONS OF VOTERS!!!!!!!! This is a point that is missed. You see media types, again from CNN to FOX, and all in-between, commenting that such-n-such (R) candidate didn't do as well as Trump did with those voters. Even when a (R) wins an election, the margins are considerably smaller than what Trump carried. And these media-types link that to dissatisfaction with Trump. Wrong!

The Repubs are in trouble of losing the House (probably not the Senate...this go-around) because they are viewed as anti-Trumpers. Look at morons like John McCain, and the disappointing actions of Ryan and McConnell as leaders in Congress, and voters say, why the hell should we vote to keep those idiots in power?

The (D) won that special-election in Penn because he cast himself as a Trump clone. He won't be. It was a ruse just to get elected. Leaks out of his campaign indicate he really doesn't support all he said he did, the lone exception is Trump's position on increasing job opportunities for Americans. But, that guy won't even have a chance to support those positive policies because Nancy Pelosi will control how he votes in Congress.

But the point is, those candidates, either (R) or (D), who SOUND like Trump during their campaigns have a MUCH better chance of winning. This has already been demonstrated. So....why is that? Simple, many Americans are fed up with the Swamp in DC and want to elect people who will go there and make positive changes. And this is true from both directions, which is why crazy Bernie Sanders did so well with leftists. Krooked Killary is viewed as a Swamper too.

So, remember all of this when you follow the build-up toward the '18 mid-terms. This is NOT a referendum on President Trump, per se. It's about draining the Swamp.

And now, predictably, goosey will try to deny this truth with a personal attack on President Trump. Go ahead, goosey, get your BS out of the way.

Bill Gates is not too bright himself. Yes, he has an understanding of technology and he was smart enough to ride the coattails of those around him and he built a software empire. True. But, he is woefully devoid of common sense outside of his techy world.
