I'll continue the parade and say James McWhorter is a fantastic writer and academic with some very intriguing views on American society. He'd surprise many posters on this site.
They’re focused solely on cars. I live within easy walking distance of several bars and restaurants, and would visit them by foot or bike except that I would almost certainly be killed due to the lack of crosswalks and decent sidewalks.Quote:

That I have to consider getting a CUV, SUV, or truck as my next vehicle to be able to see while driving at night.
That Christmas is considered over after the 25th. The twelve days of Christmas exists for a reason. I’d like for lights and decorations to stay up longer.
Agree. First weekend of January is traditionally when my stuff comes down.
But no Carnival decorations before Jan 6. That's bad juju.
Our Christmas stuff stays up thru Jan 6th, The Epiphany.
