Happy Birthday Boy Scouting of America! On this day in 1910 you were created here in America a few years after Sir Robert Baden-Powell started it in the UK. It's incredibly important for turning young boys into proper young men using, of all things, merit badges. Now repeat the oath after me: on my honor, I will do my best to do my duty... to get as many merit badges as I can today.

There is no doubt that kites have changed history, and our lives, forever! Legend has it that in 1752, Benjamin Franklin flew one and, after a shock, discovered electricity. What will you discover when you go fly a kite?
