Jerry Palm is still showing NIU at 17. They will have to get a get a bigger bump in the Harris Poll than he is expecting to get to Miami. It will be interesting to see if any Harris voters place them in the top 10 or 12 in an attempt to get them in.

Multiple people on twitter are reporting its official, northern Ill vs Fla St. in the Orange bowl. If so that would probably put Oklahoma vs A&M in the cotton bowl... What a fun day.

That's not true. The Big 12 has 8 bowl tie-ins for 9 bowl-eligible teams. If they send 2 to the BC$, then they would have had 9 bowls for 9 teams.
