Parrish: UT focusing on Mike White for HC vacancy

Jimmy Watson has been tweeting about Mike White's integrity. Said yesterday that Mike White had too much integrity to take that job. Love to see that be the story here.

In any case Tech SIDs need to promote, promote, promote throughout the offseason. We need 8000 in the TAC a couple times next season. We have to show this coach some love!

Hey Prof. You think we could at LEAST get a box score next year in The Town Talk? Please don't use the excuse "you have to give the readers what they want". I'm from A town and there are plenty of TECH grads there.

A source told @CBSSports that Donnie Tyndall's deal at Tennessee is for six years at $1.6 million per year.

Here is the lead-in quote from the top ESPN-MBB story on the Tennessee hire:

"Tennessee, hours after being turned down by Louisiana Tech's Mike White, has hired Southern Miss coach Donnie Tyndall. The school will introduce him in a news conference Tuesday afternoon."

Wow! I had him as #3 on my "short list" if White jumped. Kim Anderson won the D-II title this year and coaches at Central Missouri. He served as an assistant at Baylor and Missouri under Norm Stewart. While a lot of fans wanted him, it had appeared that his time was past, he is an older guy and it looked like it was a very long shot for him to get the Missouri job. If he does, I think that would be a great hire for them.
