Release The Memo!

Good interview on Laura Ingraham's show tonight with Carter Page. He said he suspected that the FBI had his phone tapped and wrote a letter to Comey telling him he would be glad to come in and talk. He never heard from Comey. He also said he never attended a meeting that was conducted by the Trump campaign. He was supposed to be an advisor because his name was on a list but was never asked anything. He never had contact with a Russian named Sechin, even though liberal news outlets have reported he did. He was never interrogated or contacted by the FBI. He has not heard anything from the ACLU. The FBI tapped his phone just because his name was in that fake dossier. What an abuse of power by the crooks in the Obama administration!!!!
They thought Hillary would win and nobody would catch them.

I forgot one thing that was pretty funny. He said after he suspected that they were listening to his phone calls and reading his email, he sent an email to an organization in Switzerland that investigates crooked elections all over the world, and told them he believed somebody was working to undermine the presidential election.

Carter Page is a goofball. He's an academic type who teaches at New York University. Has an expertise in the energy sector, apparently, and it was for that he was "recruited" by the Trump campaign to be an advisor. Like so many others....a pool of experts...he has NEVER been consulted nor has ever participated in any actual meetings with the Trump campaign/administration. Page was asked, back in 2016, if he would be willing to serve as an advisor if called on. Like many others he considered it to be an honor and said yes, he would gladly serve on a committee, or in whatever capacity the POTUS might ask.

To further his own career, and status, he contacted an international roundtable (on energy) and offered to participate. This roundtable (European-based) has connections in Russia and had conducted one of its sessions in Russia. (in case you don't know...Russia is also a part of Europe, everything west of the Urals, and Russia is the #1 supplier of natural gas to the rest of Europe, and important oil pipelines pass through Russia, from the middle-east, into the rest of Europe). Page was accepted into the roundtable, and because he missed the conference in Russia, traveled on his own to meet the Russians who are also part of that roundtable.

I say he's a "goofball" because of the way he carries himself. Seems like a "likable fellow" but his mind is all over the place. Like he's trying to answer three different questions, at the same time. Obviously, he's just a college professor, and self-proclaimed expert on energy, who is trying (or was) to make a name for himself. He was selected by the evil obummer, klinton, comey, mueller cartel solely because, 1) his name appeared on a LONG list of invitees by the Trump campaign, and 2) egad! he actually traveled to Russia. (I've been to Russia too. Guess I'll be targeted by the evil empire.)

Page has sued the NY Times, the FBI, and several individuals, and maybe some others too...he was about to name the whole list but Laura Ingraham cut him off with another question, and he never completed it. What I see, is the same thing every true, sensible American sees, Carter Page is just an average college professor who has been targeted by the evil empire and was being used as a tool.

And yes, just like the IRS scandal when it targeted just conservative organizations, and got caught! so too did comey's FBI target the Trump campaign. The facts are not in dispute.

Duh! He “suspected it” because the feds alerted him to the fact that he was being worked by Russians and they believed they were trying to use them as instrumentality to exert influence. Despite these warnings, he kept talking to them.

Okay....yep, you caught us, goosey. We were all prepared to vote for Krooked Killary but then Carter Page called and we all switched our votes. The election was influenced....

I find it humorous that you place so much stock in the Dem memo while lambasting the Repub memo as if the Dem memo will be anything other than spin. It will amount to a schoolyard disagreement where one side says "you did it," and the carefully crafted response of "nuh-uh, you did it," is hurled back.

Release the Dem memo, release the FISA warrant and what intel records that can be released that led to the warrant so the grandstanding can end.

Like I said, if Nunes wouldn’t have released his memo, the Dems would have no reason to release a counter. I fully expect it to be in the form of a rebuttal, but bringing to light facts that Nunes did not want to bring up as they tended to contradict the conclusions he wanted the public draw from his memo.

I seriously doubt we will see the application for FISA warrant as it most likely contains info that reveals sources and methods that would hurt national security to declassify.

Which is precisely why we shouldn’t be going down this Nunes path in the first place. Based on his memo, and taking into account the obvious omissions in the way he characterized his facts, it is hardly clear that the DOJ or FBI did anything wrong.

What you won't hear from MSM or anywhere else is that every republican voted to release the dem memo. Nothing to hide.. Can't say same for democrats as no democrat voted to release Nunes memo. Even tried very hard to stop it using bogus national security concerns..

No FISA court would grant a surveillance warrant based purely on a fake story.

You should educate yourself on the FISA warrant application process. It is not nearly as simple as fabricating a story and telling it to a judge.
