All I can say is " Think God we have a deal with Nike now." Those uniforms were butt ugly.

Maybe the uni's were "butt ugly" but when was the last time we beat the likes of Mich. St. or Alabama? Perhaps we're worrying too much about how pretty we are.

Did we go bowling when we beat them? A win over a BCS every other year should not be the goal of our program.

The number of bowl games have doubled since we last beat Alabama. We also weren't in a conference from 1996-2000. If there were 35 bowl games during Bicknell's tenue, we would have gone bowling in 1999, 2004, and 2005 in addition to our Humanitarian Bowl in 2001. JBIII got us bowl eligible in 4 of his 8 seasons as head coach.

I agree, but neither should our goal be to just have pretty uniforms. As noted by dawg06 we did go bowling in 2001. I believe we lost though. Must have been the ugly uniforms.
