Not to mention that very little of these rare earth minerals exist in the United States, making us even more dependent on foreign supplies (and some fragile governments) for our energy needs. AND mining for these minerals is not very environmental to start with.

Now I'm sure we're going to hear some lecture on how much of this stuff will get recycled. We heard the same thing when those same types of folks were pushing plastic bags over paper to save the forests and use materials that could be recycled. Now our seas are full of that crap.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the U.A.E.’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan both declined U.S. requests to speak to Mr. Biden in recent weeks, the officials said, as Saudi and Emirati officials have become more vocal in recent weeks in their criticism of American policy in the Gulf.


Other countries no longer respect the US and certainly do not respect Biden.. Both UAE and SA respected Trump..

We buy 71% of our imported oil from Canada and Mexico, sitting 3rd is Saudi Arabia, albeit just 6%. Biden placed a call to talk about SA increasing their oil shipments to us. Never mind we shouldn't be dependent on SA or any other foreign country for our oil, separate issue, Biden in his delusional thinking is seeking to replace Russian oil imports. The POTUS is supposed to be the leader of the world, at least the free world, and as such ANY country should take a call from the White House. Even if SA decides not to increase oil shipments, they should take the call. But Biden is seen as such a bungling fool by the rest of the world he is summarily dismissed.

We all know Biden was not really elected, and that 80 million Americans did not for that idiot...but around 60 million did and each of you have blood on your hands from the murdered families in Ukraine and are responsible for all the bad things happening, including the economic problems.

And if you have some moral issue with dealing with SA...you and "morals"? LOL, anyway then you should have an issue with Biden for attempting to deal with the Crown Prince. This was an OIL DEAL, a failed deal, thanks to the moronic Biden, but a business deal. What does the Crown Prince's legal immunity have to do with it? We wanted his OIL, not him!

We agreed to backfill their Migs. Sounds like we didn’t agree to have sorties fly into Ukraine from a US Air Force base. I can understand why we might want to be cautious about steps that could entangle us in a war with another nuclear power. Adults think through these things.
