As for wearing a mask, we do, my wife and I, and my daughter, who works in the medical field wears one all day long at her job and tends to be a bit lax otherwise. As I understand it masks are NOT meant to protect the wearer, but rather others. Well, I have been tested three times, all negative, and honestly don't believe I am a carrier. But, I wear one anyway. When seatbelts became mandatory I had to dig mine out which I had hooked and stuffed into the gap in the seats. I hooked them because otherwise that stupid light/beeper never shut up! But, now, I hook my seatbelts every time I get in a vehicle and do it without thinking about it. I understand if you do something for 21 straight days it becomes a "habit." I am close to the point where wearing a mask is the same way.
As for the politics of mask wearing...well, if libs are so awesome at it, I suppose "blue" cities and states are safe. Well, safe except for Antifa/BLM rioters hitting you in the head with a brick. But, wear that mask!

New York’s ultra-rich are quietly preparing for civil unrest on Election Day — by hiring armed guards to stand watch over their luxury Manhattan buildings.
At the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle, where the penthouse is going for $62.5 million, managers are deploying off-duty cops with “submachine guns” to stand watch, while other wealthy city enclaves are also beefing up protection for residents.
“Everybody is worried about security,” an insider told the Post. “Every top building is adding security. It’s out of control. We hope it won’t be needed, but we will be ready.”
The building is working with the NYPD and Homeland Security, the insider said

Civil unrest could very well turn into civil war with the re-election of President Trump. This country is so divided, I question whether or not it can survive. I know I want no part of socialist Marxism, and that I have no intention of ever surrendering any of my liberties, starting with my 2nd Amendment guaranteed right to own and bear arms. I thank Holy God that we now have a real 5-4 majority in the SCOTUS. That should ensure that we'll keep our rights for at least another four years, and hopefully, some of the naive liberals in this country will grow up by then.

Walmarts have taken guns/ammo out of their stores to keep it out of the hands of Leftist thugs. Dick's has, as have other retailers, too. I have enough ammo I could sell cases to Walmart, I don't need any of theirs. Naturally, I hope and pray cooler heads will prevail...but I am not that naive to actually believe it. I fully expect the Left to once again engage in horrific violence and I feel for the victims to come. Personally, I will defend my family and my property, and again, hope I don't HAVE to do anything.
