Re: Two Thumbs Up
Saw The Flash last night. DC just doesn't get it. Not sure why they can't put together a solid movie, but they don't seem able. (Nolan and Burton's Batmans are the exception, but they aren't really DC universe movies) There are moments that are pretty good here, and Michael Keaton gave a good try toward saving the show, but there's just too much that's dumb in the midst of it. And, frankly, even if Ezra Miller isn't a perve, he's not much of an actor.
A lot of "fan service" cameos in the story, but also a lot of lame humor.

Re: Two Thumbs Up
Mrs. Harris goes to Paris. Wife wanted to watch this and I was meh. It turned out to be a nice and interesting flick. It is about an English lady that works as a servant for many years and saves her money because she wants a dress from a famous french dress designer. She finally saves enough money and goes to Paris to get her dress. Some very interesting moments follow with many ups and downs some centered around the fact that she is a simple servant. A few ups and downs but rewarding in the end.

Re: Two Thumbs Up
Saw Dune Part 2 last night. Thought the two shows were well done and did a nice job of capturing the Dune universe. Made a few changes (hardly shocking) but kept to the key direction of the story and did a nice job with most of the major players in the universe (though they largely ignored the mentats)

Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare was an entertaining movie to kill some time with.

Re: Two Thumbs Up
nobody was fun. not sure why i never saw it before.
also, i recently watched patriot on prime. unfortunate it never had a second season. it was definitely a niche show, but it reminded me of a little of catch 22 (in the tone and the humor, not the plot).
