LDH-OPH representative made it abundantly clear that’s not the case over here.

He was also very clear that the multiple tests for an individual weren’t warranted anyway. I’ll try to find a clip to post.

My wife has had multiple people quarantine because they were exposed to someone with COVID and themselves later developed COVID (presumably) but were not tested. Their doctors (via Telehealth) told them it wasn’t necessary to get tested and that they should remain in quarantine for the recommended period. They were not counted.

One of her colleagues that did get tested was positive, but didn’t get her results for 13 days...which might have something to do with why doctors are not pushing their patients to go get tested in Houston. The testing bottleneck makes the results nearly useless.

Simple solution for the China Virus "crisis"...

Declare that everyone has it, and that most people will die from it. There, quick, simple, and cuts straight to the point. Oh, and it's all Trump's fault too.

The extra $600 a week that people are currently getting for being unemployed ends in 10 days. It will be interesting to see what happens when the money stops. The country cannot afford another multi trillion dollar stimulus bill.

But that's exactly what Trump and GOP leaders discussed today...another "hand-out." Of course the word going into the meeting was McConnell et al were not too keen on further busting the budget...but I suppose are willing to agree to some kind of compromise. To which the Dems were already hollering about "people dying and people (gotta love this one...) losing their businesses" due to the "crisis." Yep! an economic crisis created by the Dems!

I expect there to be some kind of hand-outs coming again.

An unemployed couple is currently making over 7200.00 a month with current stimulus to sit and home and watch Netflix. I'd gladly stop working and take a hit if the govt was going to give me 7200 a month and I don't have to do anything?? Why not?
