I may not know about ratings, but personally for someone who abhors cold weather, this works for me!
My dad lived in Detroit, omg... that place is freezing let alone the South during winters!
Re: Global Warming Cont...
It is the sun.
BTW, it is also appropriate for this thread to be on the political forum since that's all discussions about man-made GW are...political. No science at all.

And for all you sun-doubters (not mentioning any names, NaCly) I want you to be outside the space shuttle the next time one of those non-factor solar flares happens. Can you say....toast!

Are you going to be able to complete it?
If not, please explain the mechanism whereby the inverse sunspot cycle length would impact sea surface temperatures.

Don't have the data.

Wrong. AGW is science but what we are going to do about it is political.:icon_wink:

Re: Global Warming Cont...
The sun is the cause of temp fluctuations on Earth. Anyone can google the subject and see article after article from reputable astrophysicists that have studied it and say so. The other side has that goofy algore.
Period. End of story.
Next!

Think about it.
Re: Global Warming Cont...
An actuary ran did a correllation study on various sunspot parameters in 2008. Look it up.

I did. If you graph was valid, you can bet your boots it would have been updated. In other words, the correlation after 1990 turned to monkey doo-doo.
I can see the 11 year sunspot cycle influencing weather, but climate is completely a different story.

You are an idiot. That data was from a 1991 study by Friis-Christensen. There was no data past 1990 because it did not exist at the time of the study.
