The GOP....well, it has its share of idiots that need to be tossed too. But, overall, as a party, it can still be saved (from itself). If the GOPers don't adopt a new outlook, one rooted in "Trumpism" it too will fade away. Right now it's best redeeming quality, as a political party, is it ain't the democrap party. But, that is basically it!
Mostly...and I think we all can agree on this, regardless of your political viewpoints...BOTH major parties have lost a lot of their luster. More and more Americans are disavowing any party affiliation in favor of being an independent. Keep in mind, ALL political parties are private organizations. They are "clubs" that you can join, or not join. I think it's a very good thing that we are moving away from a two-party system. No, not ONE party, that would be fascism. We need several viable parties, where we see members of other parties get elected to Congress and to state offices. That would be the best way....if it is still possible...to bring both major parties back in line with the will of the American people.
I have several VERY, and I mean, VERY libtard friends who agree that Trump has opened that door. While they hate Trump....even while they personally benefit from his policies...they acknowledge he has thrown down the gauntlet to the major parties. Of course, Bernie Sanders has to, to a certain extent, from the other side of the spectrum.
I'm beginning to notice that some think it's cool to hate Trump. Many of those same people think it's cool to wear lsu crap
As a whole, overall, LSU supporters tend to be conservative, and I know the vast majority are Trump supporters. Of course, there are always exceptions.Quote:
