We have a CLC rep who meets with our marketing folks. The rep is the one who is supposed to be making the calls on the inventory buyers at all these retail stores.

PS-I was told by a City of WM economic development person the WM Academy is the No. 3 producing store in all of Academy-land. Their ace in the hole? Apparel . . . cuz all those stores are in Monroe.

The WM Academy doubles up their floor space on all kinds of apparel, including school khakis, jeans, shorts and polos.

Not really peeved, just annoyed a little...

Aggie alumni (or not) belong to Former Students' Association. At least our name indicates that members have graduated from Tech while "exes" and "former students" just mean members attended.

Actually an "alumnus" is a former student, doesn't have to be a graduate. I've recruited a few to the alumni association with that tidbit.

My peeve is when supposedly a young technically savvy (engineer) young person scans and emails me a pdf of a signed document and when I get it it is landscape with the top at one side and too small to just print and rescan. I'm an old fart rotary dialer but I can handle a scanner. And earlier I had a PhD send me a very poorly scanned jpeg for a document which I had to photoshop to make legible and then make a pdf out of it.

I may have told this story, but it goes well with your post and was the ultimate get the poacher story...

After the poacher guy asked if he could cut through his property to get to a federal reserve and being told NO WAY, the guy parks in a public area, but decides to hunt on this guys property. He left his 4wheeler with the key parked part way in, but on the guys property.

The 4weeler had a winch. The property owner winched the 4wheeler about 15 feet up a tree, took the key and the winch control, then left a note on the guys truck on how he could find him to retrieve the 4wheeler.

RED TAPE. AS a computer information system major, I'm not allowed to use the CIS lab @ tech point. WHY? because its a CSRA lab. They set up the lab for students to use. Why can't students use it? RED TAPE. Also the Tech aviation department pays for their internet 5mbps down (name another department that pays for their internet usage), which is piped all the way from Wiley Tower, WHY? WHY pipe it that long of a distance, and not just make the aviation department pay to use the line that is already setup at the Ruston airport hell it would be faster. BECAUSE RED TAPE.

Do drive a big crew cab so you could crush something else if needed, but don't run up your blood pressure by not letting someone get in front of you if they're determined to do so. In the end you are still in the awesome American-made hulking crew cab and they are only 3 seconds ahead of you on the interstate.

"What number did you call? I didn't have a voicemail."
