No NCAA championships this FALL as each sports has dropped below 50% participation. This of course doesn't effect CFB Playoff, as that is not run by NCAA.

He makes some great points in this article. He's very concerned about teams playing football in the spring, and then coming back to try to play football again next fall in 2021 when everything is over. He talks about how unhealthy this is for the players to play two seasons in such as short period of time, and he's right.
Spring football is a talking point. Nothing more. It can't and won't happen unless some of the FCS schools pull it off. I believe some of those who don't care about spring sports (SWAC and MEAC) may try.

I agree. It's something to talk about as part of the narrative of this situation. But when it comes down to it, if your mind set is we can't play in the fall because of disease, you're pretty likely to say it's too much football in a year to play two seasons. Even if one or both seasons hare abbreviated schedules.Quote:
