Too picky? Republican voters of all shapes, sizes, brands, and varieties would've shown up had the republicans actually run a republican this year. I don't think it was Romney's lack of support from the religious right. The 2013 autopsy specifically noted Romney's low approval among Hispanics. We were supposed to court conservative Hispanics this year and turn them into solid Republicans. And then Trump happened and threw that out of the window.
There's a whole host of demographics that are inherently conservative that the GOP and their head man has done a piss poor job of reaching out to. GWB did well broadening the base. We've been narrowing it since.Quote:
