Absolutely Incredible Kid Day
March 17th, 2012
Founded by Camp Fire USA (Campfire Girls and Boys of America), and celebrated on the day the organization began, Absolutely Incredible Kid Day is a nation-wide letter writing campaign. Adults write letters to the important kids in their lives to share their love and support. For the most part, the recipients of the letters are appreciative, though some of the brattier children have commented that they would have rather been treated to a day at the water park.

Goddess of Fertility Day
March 18th, 2012
Aphrodite to the Greeks, Isis to the Egyptians and Freyja to the Vikings; when it comes to the business of making babies, someone's gotta be in charge. If you're in the market for a little bundle of joy, pick any of the aforementioned lovely ladies, or make up one of your own. Today might just be your lucky day.

Supreme Sacrifice Day

A supreme sacrifice is when one person gives something up for the benefit of another. A supreme guilt trip is what comes next.

National Poultry Day
March 19th, 2012
Beloved the world over for their culinary versatility and lower fat content than other meats, today we celebrate the birds of the poultry group. Used for their meat, feathers and/or eggs, well-known members include the chicken, turkey and duck. Also in the club are the emu, the ostrich and the Indian peafowl -- otherwise known as the peacock. But if the idea of eating peacock ruffles your feathers, don't worry, they're mostly just bred to walk around and look pretty.

Extraterrestrial Abductions Day
March 20th, 2012
An alien abduction is like a free vacation' that starts in your bed in the middle of the night and ends with what can only be described as a 'medical examination' by a bunch of little green men. So pack your bags and keep a lookout for lights in the sky.

National Ravioli Day
March 20th, 2012
Take one tasty food --pasta-- and fill it with another tasty food --cheese, or meat, or mushrooms-- and you've got the wondrous little yum pillows we call ravioli. The earliest mention of ravioli appears in the writings of Francesco di Marco, a merchant of Prato in the 14th century. The latest mention probably occurred last night around dinnertime.

Tip of the Day: Be careful of following the masses - because when you remove the "m", who exactly are you following?

National French Bread Day
Oo la la! Wouldn't the creator of this day be shocked to find out that baguettes were first created in Vienna?
