If you google "best songs of the 80s" you'll find some lists that may be helpful (you won't agree with them all, but at least you'll have a 100 songs or so to skim through - VH1 has a top 100 for example).
A few suggestions for consideration:
Billie Jean
Sweet Child O'Mine
With or Without You
Walk Like an Egyptian
Faith
Little Red Corvette
It Takes Two
What It Takes
All My Exes Live in Texas
Forever and Ever, Amen
Walk This Way (Run DMC version)
Tainted Love (that is one creepy video)
99 Luft Balloons
Livin' on a Prayer
Re: What are you listening to Today?
You came up with a list without a single Queen song? For shame!

It's not an exhaustive list. Just some suggestions. A place to start.
But I doubt any Queen song would make it into my top 10 for any decade, certainly not the 80s.

Somewhere in the distance, I hear the bells ring....
Hands down, best song on the album on an album full of great songs
Even though Phil Collen is in the video, Pete Willis was the 2nd guitar to Steve Clark on the album

So no love at all for Jimmy Jammison and Survior, not even High On You?
Back in September I took the whole family to Dallas to see Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger. Another 80s Tech grad and his wife and kids joined us and it was a great weekend. The concert was outdoors at the fairgrounds and except for the parking it was a very smooth event. If you had told me thirty years ago I would see those bands again in the future with my own kids and wife, I would have laughed.
