Biden cancels three O&G leases (Alaska and Louisiana) and has no plans to address the expiring 5-year leasing plan which expires next month. That will mean no O&G drilling on Federal lands and offshore, well, forever...until a new plan is drafted, which will be after Trump returns to office in January 2025.

And the leases they supposedly made available....they increased the government's royalty rate. That should help reduce prices along with their stupid windfall profits tax! :rolleyes4::rolleyes4: Even a tribal "know nothing" should be able to see that increasing taxes on production increases the break even price needed to produce the oil and gas they are after, so offering leases and then inflating the cost of production helps little. In all likelihood they made a great number of wells that could have been drilled uneconomical.Quote:

Trump fought (by himself, most of the time) the idea that bureaucracies made the decisions in America, and I don't know of many out there that would be willing to do the same. Not sure if he would have done it if they hadn't attacked him so hard.

On CNN this morning they had a former obummer "economic advisor" on as a guest. Excuse me while I laugh...:laugh:. obummer had the WORST 8-year tenure in POTUS history! Anyway, as if that wasn't bad enough, this is how the exchange went:
Guest: The Republicans are purposely making inflation happen just so they can blame Biden and the democrats.
CNN hostess: Wow! Well, then what should President Biden's message be to the American people?
Guest: He should assure the people he feels their pain and is doing everything possible to correct the problems...blah, blah, blah.
In a nutshell this is why morons who watch CNN are so clueless about everything! Read that again...you might think the CNN hostess person would have questioned, "How are the Republicans causing inflation?" But no, just accept that as factual and move on to giving a goofy lefty a platform to tell more lies.
