I don't think the vet should be able to essentially change our mascot's name. If Tech XX is too long, call him Tech. At least that way he'll still answer to Tech XX. And really while it's shorter to type, I don't believe LT is much shorter to say than Tech XX.

Sexton was laughing during the Channel 3 interview shown last night. Well, maybe not laughing at the overall situation, but he did when asked if he thought the dog just wandered off on his own. Sexton said he's a creature of habit and his habit is air-conditioning (with a chuckle).
Well, I think it's obvious someone scooped him up, and perhaps was unaware what the dog was, but probably now knows they have Tech XX and are trying to figure out how to capture the reward money without being accused of theft. And/or they are now hoping the reward gets raised, and raised.
What does an English bulldog cost? At some $$ amount the point of diminishing return will be crossed and it would be more cost-effective to get another one. But, I think someone has him and is fully aware of the situation. The fact they haven't already come forward means they want the reward money.
BTW, is there a coyote problem around that part of Ruston? There is a big problem in parts of Natchitoches. Coyotes usually stick to taking small dogs, but a pack could handle a bulldog I'm sure.

I really don't understand why we keep getting mixed information about his whole situation. This article says that he was last seen at 6 p.m. not 8 p.m. and that he was let into the PARKING AREA?!?! Who lets a dog into a parking lot to go to the bathroom?! Sounds pretty suspicious to me. Then, since there was no evidence that he was stolen, no police report has been filled? He hasn't been found, no paw prints at the scene; that's good enough evidence for me.
