I've posted a link to MS St scheduling philosophy - they like 2-for-1 so they don't have to pay a lot. Now espn might want to help them buy out and get them big name opponent

Louisiana Tech head football coach and athletics director Derek Dooley announced the extension of the football series against Mississippi State beginning in 2011.

It's basically a 2-for-4 stretching over 10 seasons.

I'd be tickled if Techs OOC sked was filled with P5 2-for-1s.

Work it right and you could bring a home game with a name-brand opponent each year.

Tech-UAB game will be on CSN Chicago (DirecTV 665).

TV talent working the UAB at FAU game (Ron Thulin on play-by-play and Keith Moreland on color) said they would be in Birmingham next Saturday.
