Theprofessor needs to understand that he is preaching to the charter members of The 3Cs club (those that know how to do nothing but criticize-condem-complain). If the Dawgs were 8-0 with a win over Texas their analysis would remain the same. If they had a goose that laid 14-carat gold eggs, they would kill the poor bird because the eggs were not edible.
In the past, I have chided Champlon110 about his Pollyanna optimism. He could always be counted upon to proclaim something positive no matter what. Well, the 3Cs negativity is so constant and profound when it comes to Bulldog football, it appears they have succeeded in muting Champion110. I never thought I would see that happen.
Well, I am not completely muted. I read this board each day and post from time to time. I can't bring myself to live in constant pessimism, though, so just post at times. No need for me to engage the nay-sayers. And, no, I am not completely happy with our direction. I don't think Tech is thinking big enough for the future, however, I have no complaints about this season at this time. I just want us to keep winning. I continue to post extremely positive messages on social media and I believe I can spread the Tech name to others better in those forums. Still here, though..... :D
You Kool-Aid drinkers can take lessons from Champion110. His eternal optimism is "funny." I mean that in a complimentary way. He doesn't bash those who don't live at the top of the "All is Well!" mountain, like he does.
I'm a hopeless pragmatist. For instance, when I look at the loss to Texas, I see a 3-loss team that is sinking fast, yet smoked us by 30+ points. Not good. And when I look at our 7-1 record I see exactly ONE win over a fairly decent team, USM. No rose-colored glasses for me. I prefer to clearly see things AS THEY ARE.
Can we change the domain name to latechccc.com?
It seems to me we have mostly moved away from the dreaded delayed handoff play that got blown up more often than it worked. If you are going to hand the ball off, just do it!!! It seems something may have finally clicked with J'Mar. I can remember dreading watching Ryan Higgins play, then "boom" something clicked and he played much better, so change is always an option. C'Mon J'Mar, let's keep this thing rolling.
