I can’t help but wonder if you guys would have been happy if Obama negotiated a deal that increased regulations and minimum wage. You guys seem to be celebrating something that looks like a step toward socialism.

Course, I am not surprised you guys like it. This is both tribal and RINO.
Actually, the terms of the agreement, still pending confirmation, between the US and Mexico in reference to autos, is that 45% of the parts manufactured IN MEXICO be done at wage rates of a minimum of $16/hour.
So, once again, we see goosey present FAKE NEWS in an attempt to discredit another huge success by our gallant president.
Oh, in case I have to explain what this means, for you lefties who are intellectually challenged....ya see, part of the UNFAIR trade practices President Trump is fixing is subsidized industries by foreign governments, in this case, Mexico, who artificially prop up export industries....um, socialism...to gain an advantage over American industries.
Putting America First!
One small step for American workers, one giant leap for crushing commie globalism.
Oh, and did y'all catch the on-set interview with the Mexican official, who is the chief negotiator for Mexico in revamping NAFTA? Priceless! He was on....I can't remember who's...FOX show. Might have been Martha McCallum. Anyway, he was on FOX and the host showed a clip from some pundit from CNN screaming how Mexico hates this deal. The Mexican official laughed and shook his head in utter disbelief. Really? Is this how CNN reports stories? I assure you, he reiterated, we would have not agreed to it if we hated the deal.
Game! Set! and Match!
Normally I don't like setting a minimum wage for an industry but in this case, it has no affect on the wages in American auto plants. This just means that Mexico won't be able to use extremely low wages to attract plants from the US. The wages will still likely be lower than the US, but not as drastic. We will see. I think it is a good sign that a deal was worked out. It also puts pressure on Canada. We will see how it all works out, but I think this is actually a positive step.
