I first noticed it under Clinton. He started the whole, "I met with Billy Bob Tucker in Louisville, KY last week. He's a farmer and he has 6 small children and his wife is disabled. He says he has to have Ross Perot's dividend checks or his whole family will burn in a house fire... "
Now everybody does that.

Got them both two terms, so it must be appealing to more than I'd like to think.
But...using children as a prop is worse than anything. It's one thing when an adult does it knowingly, but those children don't even know what's going on.

I think Reagan used to do it to a lesser extent. But with him it was always to relate some story he knew about some American hero...then it turned into a pity party.

You are prob right; clinton may have started it. I wouldn't know because I turned off the tv whenever clinton came on.
Perhaps the liars are all trying to get the voters programmed to use inductive reasoning -- taking a specific example (chosen by them or their handlers) and applying it to the general society/economy ??

Not at all. I associate Obama with those two guys already. I'm just trying to fix that mental image in everybody else's heads.

It's just that most people aren't paying attention. Our attention span only allows for sound bites and visuals. Hmmm... I like Obama, he cares about children.... now what channel is Honey Boo Boo on?

I see these three pictures are on Drudge. Apparently the person I stole them from stole them from Drudge.

This is a first step. When other shootings happen(and they will) look forward to more exectutive actions(orders) to protect us!

There has been a school shooting in California (high school), Kentucky (community college), and Missouri (vocational college) since SH. Kentucky and Missouri happened on the same day as Obama's dictation about gun control.
Also, the firemen ambush.
At least, those are the "nationally relevant" shootings.

I assume that when people talk of President Obama as being like Hitler, they are playing to the crowd, laying it on thick, etc. If it's anything more than hyperbole, I hope people understand how incomparably opprobrious that is.
Re: Serious gun control questions
Hitler was a narcissistic, paranoid socialist who believed he was always right, everyone else wrong, and wanted a strong central gov-mint to assure his narrow view of the world became a reality. Now.....why would anyone say that sounds like obummer? :icon_roll:

I wasn't referring to his personality or philosophy; rather, the torture and loss of humanity he perpetrated.

The torture was not really known about by the population until the war was over.
And do we REALLY know what this guy is up to? We know he holds the Constitution in contepmt, considers political adversaries to be "enemies" of the state, and governs by executive order whenever he thinks he can get away with it. Give him time...he is capable of doing what you suggest.
Honestly, this should bother his worshipers as much as his opponents.

And he wants to disarm the citizens, like Hitler. Obama seems very frustrated that the Constitution prevents him from being a king.
