Fewest points Marshall has scored all season in the first half. I trust our D, but god O needs to be more aggressive in the 2nd half lol

Our coach has no killer instinct. He proves it game after game. Instead of taking advantage of the 3 min we had on our last drive before half to score, he tries to run out the clock with very conservative run plays. We should be at least 10 points ahead and now it is a 4 point game. Pathetic!

The house has been rockin' at El Jimador in Minden. Glad we at least have a lead and get the ball at the start of thebsecond half.

I understand the last minute timeout before the FG but wish we hadn't done it.

I wish we had more trick plays. Sokol is so obvious with his handoffs. We are getting by solely on Dixon's speed. Can you imagine what our offence would look like with a little misdirection?

Tech had a timeout left...if you ice him once, you do it twice in that situation.

But knowing we were going to have starters out, would we have taken a 17-13 halftime lead getting the ball to start the 3rd?...Absolutely!

Bone headed play calling on offense caused a 6 point swing during the last two series.

We are really going to miss Sokol next year. There aren't many QB's out there that are willing to stay in the pocket and take the hit (even in the pros). The guy has no fear. Really like watching him play.

Our D and Sokol are why we are playing today. Well, Dixon helped a lot too.

Hopefully Skippy will take the leash of the Dawgs in 2nd half. Need to if we are going to win this game.

I think you will see Tech open it up in this upcoming half. I don't want to imagine what the score would be had Skip called pass plays at the end of the 1st half only for them to fall incomplete and leave more time on the clock for Marshall. (17-17 maybe?) So, come out and throw the kichen sink at them now.

He's getting better with experience though. The 3rd and 2 run near midfield early had him hit about two feet short, and got the 1st down by two yards.

That last offense possession Tech was way too conservative, needed some points. Also looked like Marshall is taking control of the line. Game is reminding me of ODU. Got to keep it close and try to win it in the end.

Hope our offense can put up some points out of the locker room. Take some time off the clock. If our defense is fresh and aggressive, we can frustrate Cato right off the bat.

Here is when you do and do not try to "ice" the kicker: When the team just had a long run or pass and the other team has to hurry the kick team onto the field, you DO NOT try to ice the kicker. When there is a long drive and the kicker has been warming up on the sideline knowing he is about to take a last second kick, YOU DO try to ice the kicker. That play and not challenging the obvious touchback from a previous punt has been concerning to say least.

They are starting to shut down our run. It's not raining...let's pass on first down in 2nd half. First drive will set the tone. Let's shove it down their throats!!
