Needless to say for everything to match up, you have to be able to find a conference that fits what you're looking to achieve and is also open to accept you.

Let me enlighten you! We started playing NSU about 14 years ago. Our series record is something like 6 to 6 or 7 to 6. ULM posters on the Warhawk Discussion Board offered similar comments when SU visited Ewing

Coliseum to play them in basketball in 2013. "They're a SWAC school!", they said. When the final buzzer sounded, the score was SU 68 - ULM 39. It is a bad thing to think of onesself too highly!

Southern has a great alumni fanbase. Lots of successful and productive people who will travel to Ruston in droves. Really looking forward to mingling with them pregame, watching their awesome band perform, and cheering the Dawgs on to victory.

These guys don't seem too bad so far. Much better than those losers from that school in Laughayette ;)

I'm looking forward to this one for much different reasons than that other home game we have with an in-state school.

Earle my friend I respect your words, but Tech is no ULM or ULL. This game will not be close, over in the second quarter. There is no way around what is going to happen. Southern pose absolutely no threat on the gridiron. Just saying the honest truth, no trashing talking is needed.

I'm not sure if you were serious or just taking a jab at Tech, but if any fans down there didn't/don't know we are FBS (and not FCS like yall), then they aren't fans I would be bragging on.

^Truth^ See NLULM, a school that has no business trying to compete at the FBS level and are only moved up to FBS because that's where Tech was.
