There is no way known to man or gods to make that puppy palatable.

If you say “L-A- Tech” instead of “LaTech”, do you even go here? @LATech

Replying to @BrookeBirch8 @LATech
This bothers me more than when people say "LTU."

If only there were some way to spell it that would make that clear
If only our marketers thought for a quarter second about anything
If only

As the problem grows you continue to say, "it means nothing." More and more people (locally) are referring to us as EllAye Tech. That is a serious problem with an easy fix.

Again, it's not a problem. So they call you "L-A Tech". Big whoop. What's so insulting about that?

I am a bit older, but I attended TECH. We thought LaTech was a bit soft. If I am talking with someone from Louisiana I went to TECH.

That is not the brand we were seeking when we did all the re-branding. The marketing of the new brand by Tech has been a fail, not the branding idea itself.
Again, it is an easy fix.
Re: We got El A Tech'd again.
In the Arkansas Demozette today, Benson referred to ULL as Lafayette. Didn't he know he was supposed to call them Louisiana? He said he expected them to become bowl eligible when they played Georgia Southern at home this past we.:laugh::laugh:

Precious Predicament
Dooley Dilemma
Curse of Vince's Kid
Not sure which one to go with. You want the Lah, you get LA.
Jim Oakes was right on this one.

Dooley left 8 years ago. Tech has had 8 years to fix the problem, but they've dug their heels in, doubled down on it, and made it worse.

I was not a fan of the Dooley branding, but again, the fix is simple.
We simply stop using any logo with the capital letters LA. More importantly we stop using LA in all written references. Instead we have made the LA(blockT)ECH our primary sports logo. It's like our marketing peeps think nobody is smart enough to figure out the block T which was already one of the most recognizable college logos in the nation.
