Basically in my mind.. we are 0-3... last week was a fluke... should never have been as close as it was.. I hate to root against Tech.. I actually LOVE Tech.. but I have come to the conclusion that the only way we will see any type of change in football is if we lay an egg this season.. I really hate it for the players etc. we have the talent to beat most anyone in FBS.. the coaching is not there..
ETA: I think we have some really good asst coaches. I believe that they are only allowed to coach their squads during practice but are muzzled during games.. Maybe I'm wrong.. but it seems this way..
The alumni that are keeping him employed already don’t show up for most of the games. They don’t care about the regular alumni/fans. The university has been shit poor at generating alumni support forever now. Anyone who thinks people should simply give money because they have degrees from Tech are fools. My tuition paid for those. If you want money/more money from me put a good product on the field. There are 10,000’s of alumni who haven’t heard from Tech in years. I actually tried to help teach out to a lot of the DFW ones a couple years ago. It’s sad but the sadness is only equal to what is happening under Holtz now.Quote:
