MicroBrew Coming to Ruston!

Just went for the first time Saturday night. Had a fantastic time. Had to keep down the vomit a few times due to the tiger eye on the wall, but other than that, its a really cool place to drink a beer and play some darts. Only negative comment was from the ladies. The bathrooms are still as disgusting as they were when it was the stick.

That eye is disgusting... and a slap in the face to Tech.

One of the co-owners is an LSU grad. That makes me not hate it as much.

Not really. He's a Tech alum who went to grad school at LSUHSC.

I have been in Hattiesburg for several months now and I have yet to see a local establishment with Ole Miss, MSU, or LSU crap painted on their walls. I do see a lot of USM stuff painted on the walls. I think it is safe to assume that not every single business owner in the city of Hattiesburg went to USM, yet all of them seem to support USM.

Sad that local businesses in Ruston do not support their local team. Not just sad, but STUPID.

I went to law school at LSU. I live in Ruston. Why on earth would I display anything but my diploma? Our town would be Simsboro without Tech.

It sure feels like a losing battle at times.

I'm glad, that you as a lsu-Law graduate, understand what got you there. I know a couple of Tech graduates that are HUGE lsu fans and their claim is that they went to lsu. They always tell me that they support Tech, but always call me to find out who we play, what the score was etc. I have season tickets that I have been unable to use and gave them to said friend. I still had to give them away here. I am getting tired of fighting this fight. Lets just concentrate on winning over upcoming graduates. I feel the we have lost the others.
