IMHO, the latest Gallup poll shows Liberal Dems are over playing their hand per Trump, his SC nomination, dismissing Trump's successes and the real "deep state" issues that exist the past few months.

Republican Party Favorability Highest in Seven Years
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Forty-five percent of Americans now have a favorable view of the Republican Party, a nine-point gain from last September's 36%. It is the party's most positive image since it registered 47% in January 2011, shortly after taking control of the House in the 2010 midterm elections. Forty-four percent give the Democratic Party a favorable rating.

The correlation between racism and sexism and Trump support was greater than that for economic dissatisfaction in 2016. Interesting.

Why read the report when it is total bullshit?
I skimmed it...every paragraph begins with
"It is likely..."
"It is possible that..."
In other words, all conjecture based on an anti-Trump bias.

Seems like the questions that determined if you are racist or sexists are measures of how much you identify with identity politics which would be a pretty good predictor of political affiliation.
"predicted probability"
What is the direct correlation?
Researcher: Unknown, but we have calculated a probability based on our preconceived notions and carefully selected factors.
What is the probability then?
Researcher: Well our study fails to meet the standards of a real scientific study, so the variation is too great. But! based on our bias, we can "predict" what that "probability" might be. Actually, what we hope it would be.

Well, if you read the article, it says that, if you held all other variables constant (including partisanship and view of economic satisfaction), one is 30 percent more likely to support Trump if they were racist OR sexist. That number seems too low to me, but given that these views tend to cluster, being a dissatisfied sexist racist, Trump would be the near guaranteed vote.
