In the fable The Tortoise And The Hare we learned that slow and steady wins the race. And that's been the turtles' motto since the first ones appeared on earth 200 million years ago. Maybe it's because of the turtle's easy-going attitude that some species live to be more than 100 years old. Or maybe it's because they eat so much salad. Whatever their secret, the fact remains that many turtle species are endangered, and need our help to make sure they get to enjoy those long lives of theirs. In fact, the oldest bottle of wine ever discovered is from the Roman Empire and dates back to 325 AD. We've heard 325 AD was a good vintage.

And blueberries, well everyone knows those are loaded with antioxidants and those are good for you' whatever they are. So if you think about it, blueberry cheesecake could be the world's healthiest food. Do your body good and have some today.

This holiday honors, of course, Sally Ride, who was the first woman ever to go into space way back in' oh' 1983. That was pretty recent. Looks like guys were hogging all the seats on the shuttle until then. Well, you go girl.
