Re: If you want a thread to die
What the Hell happened to Sportdawg???
Re: If you want a thread to die
He may have joined the fatal "conventional wisdom" that this thread should die. But, like many other responses found on this board, that would be total speculation and seed for controversy. :D

Re: If you want a thread to die
Another classy insult attributed to Winston Churchill after Lady Astor crudely pointed out that he was drunk
"Yes, madam, and you're ugly and tomorrow I'll be sober."

I have recently passed my Series 7 exam and now studying for Series 66. Then I go to St. Louis, come back and study for my insurance license while trying to prospect for clients. Then go back to St. Louis (I'm going to miss the Houston game :( ) Then I can start working as a financial advisor. I'm kinda busy ;)

Best of fortune to you. Since I retired, I don't know how I ever found time for all that "work stuff" I used to do.:D

Good luck to you. I've been an insurance adjuster for 33 years, so I know insurance is not something simple to learn!

I retired for about 7 months. Then, I got tired of doing nothing. I called up the companies for whom I had previously worked. I told them I was ready to work again....not because I had to...but, because I wanted to. Lately...I have been very busy. Thanks, OLDBLUE, for holding the fort down on here while sportdawg and I have been busy! We definitely don't want this thread to die!
Re: If you want a thread to die
It is July.....getting closer to kick off for the TAMU game! Thank goodness.

That sounds familiar. I retired from the chem business 12/31/2007. September 2008, I began the part time (chemistry) Instructor gig. Told my wife it was sorta like a "pregnancy.":D:D
