Hawaii’s intensity is making the difference in forcing turnovers.

Baker deserves some credit this year. The defense hasn't been shutdown, but has been a lot better than the past few years. They have to think that they have to play perfect, and they are on the field most of the game. Kept us in most games. Kept us in the UAB game until they were completely gassed because the offense decided not to do anything after the first drive, and that came off a short field thanks to an interception. Holtz is in charge of the offense, so it's on him.

Sad thing is Gary C. is the last Tech head coach that I was not consistently critical of and although he sucked as a HC, Dooley was the last AD that I was not consistently critical of.
Anybody that thought Skip and company were gonna show up for this bowl game looking well prepared --like we did in our last 4 bowl games-- is sorely disappointed.
At what point does the elephant trumpet to make a QB change? Holtz has always said he plays the QB to give us the best chance to win. After JMar being responsible for 2 turnovers, he’s not Tech’s best chance.

This team has got to make some BIG plays. Getting 1st downs is nice, but you can't score TD's if you have to make 7 or 8 1st downs on every drive possession. Those are the kind of drives that eventually stall for one reason or an other. We gotta turn some of those 1st down plays into TOUCHDOWNS.
