Roberson lucky not to miss the first half next week.
Are we ever going to get homer commentators?
I honestly just did not see Targeting there at all, Late hit maybe, but targeting? Also these color guys flipped from ITS FOR SURE TARGETING to ehh its a 50/50 call lol
WKU beats Army 17-8 in Bowling Green
USM up 45-20 on NT with 5 minutes left.
Dancy is in.
Allen looks good rolling out with that nice throw.
Allen is so much more polished than Elliot.
I dont mind Elliot getting a chance, but Im also glad he has a short leash. Allen is just better.
Allen with a TD pass!
Geez UMass is bad. Dude ran without the football.
19,682 paid. Maybe 2/3 of that present earlier.
Will we break 70? Its certainly 100% up to us.
I thought for a second they weren't gonna throw the flag for that.
USM 45 NT 27 final
FIU 48 Charlotte 23 final
Were we saving Dancy and Tucker, notice they are in late the second half
Jack Abraham QB Rating is #6 in the country.
Jmar is #100.

Was driving all day today. Score looks nice, how has the play been? Score is not really indicative.
Elliott sucks.
I just want to say, ya'll whinge a whole lot about Jmar, sometimes even when he is having a solid game, but can we all agree Elliot never needs to be the starter?
USM has a couple good, reliable receivers for Abraham to throw to as well.
I don't like our pass defense from the guys that are our there.
The look on Holtz face with the delay of game penalty.
Jmar Smith is 103rd. Mason Fine is 107th
It's a team game, so we can overcome USM having a QB that is about 17 times better!!! If we beat the Buzzards, we're bowl eligible baby! But, if we don't we still have lowly UTEP and UTSA, and a not-so-good UNT. So, I like our chances of bowling.
Why is Westin Elliott allowed to enter any football game as a player? He may be the worst I have ever seen!
Watching the Boise game - I want to play Boise in a bowl game this year.
Oddly enough, I think we could give them some problems with alignments on defense. And with a couple of tweaks to the O, we could wear them down in the 2nd half.
Ain’t saying we would win, but I think we make it a close game.
All jokes aside, we scored 69 points on the night we were honoring the Louisiana Tech team of '69....
On QB's, Allen looked really good! UMass might be the worst team I have ever seen. Not sure if they could beat a mediocre high school team. The comment earlier about their return guy forgetting the ball on the return was one of the funniest moments of the game.
I liked our killer instinct! That is not usually our style, but it is GREATLY needed - especially for next week. H*ll, we even went for it on 4th down instead of kicking once. I was SHOCKED! Maybe the reward of that Touchdown will get Skippy to do that more often when it is actually needed. We had a mild slump in the 3rd, but overall (even with the 2nd and 3rd string), I liked that we didn't let up.
Next week will prove a lot of fans wrong and a lot of fans right. I hope I'm on the wrong side.
Will we be favored at home?
We are the worst 5-1 team in the nation, with the worst QB (103rd!). But, Skippy can change all of that by finally beating the Buzzards. After whipping UNT, USM has clearly set itself in the catbird seat in CUSA West. The division is theirs to lose. Yeah, UAB will still have some say in the matter...as will we. So, what will we say next Saturday to USM, "Not so fast, my friend!" like Lee Corso, or will we be like John Candy's character in "Stripes" and surrender "Here ya go! Hand 'em over, boys."
I’m still trying to process this one. I’m still in shock that Skip Holtz would intentionally score that many points on anyone and go for it on fourth down in the red zone? Who was that and what did they do with Holtz? I do know Allen is by far the best passer on the team by a long shot. He has such a nice touch when he needs it but can also throw a frozen rope too.
Hope he considers going in bowl mode early.
I realize he has seven wins and another bowl game in the bag, but that's not enough. Sounds crazy, but when those seven wins have combined 7 wins it difficult to get fired up for a 6th consecutive bowl victory (BTW, for resume purposes that would be the first time in Tech history).
Thats gotta be one of the better post-bye week performances we’ve had in a while. Even against a terrible team. We’ve struggled with terrible teams.

Aaron Allen | Bio
QB 6-1 193 R-Fr.
I agree UMass was not good, but I commend them on their enthusiasm whenever they scored, or made a positive play.
Honestly, after last night’s game, Elliott should no longer be allowed to even dress out. He’s contributed nothing to this team, and frankly he’s just taking up someone else’s spot on the roster. I’m tired of seeing him get some valuable playing time, and throwing INT’s every time he touches the ball.
If a player has been playing/practicing college football this long and still sucks this bad, he’s needs to find something else to do. He’s a lost cause.
And Jmar Smith has something like 40 career starts, all against a string of the weakest schedules in the last 40 years at least, and all he can manage is a 103rd rating out of about 130 QBs. Some of the QBs on 0-6 teams have higher ratings than him! Yeah...a lost cause.
As for Elliot I don't know if he has any hope, or not. Maybe he just sucks like that Georgia Tech transfer did. Or, maybe if he had had 40 career starts by now he'd actually be ranked in the Top 100 QBs in the nation.
At least we know we have a good back up in Allen. Maybe that's the reason Skip is letting J'Mar run it more. I think he's going to be real good, if Skippy doesn't screw him up. Like chewing him out for throwing a TD pass.
I'm very excited about Allen. He really does look very smooth at the QB position. And he throws very catchable passes, Of course we've only seen a few plays out of Allen, but he looks very promising.
I predict that LA Tech will start drawing bigger crowds again once J'Mar has moved on.
