Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
I think it depends on the age of the child to a large degree. If I had a young child, and this happened, I wouldn't be very happy about it. Without putting much thought into it, I don't know that I can say what's an appropriate age to allow your child to have a "toy" simulate pissing on him or her. I do know, I'd laugh at dirtylegacy if it happened to him and would probably laugh at my 9 year old. You have to remember that very young children are very impressionable. Case in point is my 9 year old. When he was about 2 or so, on the way home from Tech games, trips to North La, etc... we would pull over to the side of the road for him to relieve himself. Never thought twice about it until one day we were at home and dirtylegacy and I were in the front yard playing football and legacy2 who, once again was about 2, was standing on the front porch and decided to whip it out and start peeing. All that to say, you really have to think about what you're allowing your kids to be exposed to not to mention the fact that, to me, it seems rather disgusting and low class. I'm glad to know of this restaraunt as I'll probably avoid it if ever eating in Shreveport.

Ditto! I wonder if folks on here would feel any different if it was a anatomically correct female doll. Hum...... "You ever wonder..."
Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
No trip to Ronin is complete without the appearance of the "Doll"....

Did you watch the news clip? He cried like a b*tch. Come on, he filed a "sexual crime against a minor". What a waste of tax payers money having to follow up on this incident.
Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
I would wager the dad is not an R. Kelly fan.

Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
Hate to say it, but I have rarely been to a hibachi in Shreveport without a solid amount of white trash in it. I think this guy qualifies. Seriously, get a grip and quite looking for some way to sue somebody. What a loser.

I do have to say that I don't think I'd have gone so far as filing with the police and sure wouldn't have gone on television. I'd probably have said something to the chef and/or the manager/owner, but not to the extent it seems this fellow has gone. If I were as offended as he seems to have been, I sure as heck would not have remained at the establishment to finish my meal.
Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
Yep, here we go. This guy is going to shut down the good fun for everybody. They have been doing it for over a decade, but now this jackass is going to have them questioning everything they do and whether it is offensive or not. The Dawghouse service waiting times are something to truly be offended about.

Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
I guess this guy will not being taking his kid to Hooters.
Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
I told Mrs. Chip and our 11 year-old about this and they said that when we went there they deployed that little unit on someone at our table. I'm afraid I don't remember it, but I'm certain I didn't call John Law and I don't think I cried either.
Re: Local man outraged about urinating doll
Oh, and we did take the kids to Hooters to see the first LA TECH Miller Light sign in SB - now there are several.
