We've been through those years before... the only difference now is our offense scores 62 when our defense gives up a million yards of offense to a team one year removed from FCS.

But we are NOT Southern Miss.....our problem is, we are making schools like UTSA and TX State look like Oregon's offense! UTSA AND TX STATE!!! Wow.....

Lets just close our eyes and click our heels and maybe next week everything will be OK. Some of these posts are just incredible. I'll be honest, I've NEVER seen a defense as bad as this, and I've watched a lot of games. This has to be the worst defense statistically to ever set foot on a NCAA field.

Oh, ok. I thought when I was watching those highlights of her on ESPN they were doing a report and showing highlights of our defense.

We've had worse defenses. Problem is we lost those games. There was a time when every struggling offense would set records against us. It was pretty ugly.

You are correct. The difference is now whenever the other team scores we just turn around and return the favor. Basically our offense is so good the other team has to score on basically every possession to beat us.

You have to think about our games like an NBA basketball game. It comes down to who can make a stop in the last few minutes. We need to take more chances on defense. So what if we give up some big plays they would have probably scored anyway. We need to sell out more and try to force turnovers. Play to your strengths.
