In journalistic terms, they buried the lead - first words are an intro of our new AD? Look, I know he is a good guy and everything but c'mon man, why do you wait until the video is almost over to say anything about C-USA and never mention the new head coach whose last name alone has some following and "star" power. Again, not bangin' on the AD here but with all due respect he will never step onto the field while the clock is running and will not be calling plays or preparing these young men for battle week in and week out either.

Excellent post, Rhino! Very few "average Joe's" in our fan base out there give a crap about a new AD. Most fans don't know his name, and most never will. It's NOT a "selling point" for the upcoming season. It's ludicrous to lead the new video with an AD introduction. Can you imagine one of the AQ school's doing that?
As you stated, the video should be building excitement around our 1st season in CUSA, the return of RB sensation Kenneth Dixon, our new Head Coach, etc.... We have so many good things to tout other than a new AD.
This is another missed opportunity for LA Tech. We gotta stop screwing stuff up, people. It's time to start getting it right for a change.

I thought last year's re-do promo was pretty good. I'm glad they rushed to take the first video off line. It was horrible.

I hope our intro video will be better than the promo. It needs to tell a story, include highlights, and look epic or badass.
