I really thought that Baylor was a coaching career killer and thought that Briles had made a mistake leaving Houston. Looks like a great move now. Can you say 70-0 over UCF?

This just makes me laugh. All that push to get away, and then they still have to share a conference and go to their bowl when they suck. The only thing better would be if they had to stay in Boise.

In a way it is a yawn because Boise has "been there, done that" so much playing the University of Hawaii. I'm eager to see how many Boise fans show up if they do go the Hawai'i Bowl.

Only one with a credible gripe is WKU (and I am sure they are thrilled to be rid of KB after this year). Interesting that as many former SBC teams got into a bowl as current SBC teams did

Zero, and SJSU is sitting at home. Those 9 teams I posted all got left out. All of the non-AQ bids are posted in the first post. Just waiting on a few more of the AQ conference bids.

So in essence, San Jose beating Fresno State cost themselves about $1M, their conference mates many more $millions$, and they still got no bowl game.

They probably would have loved to stay and play in Boise over this, at least they would have packed the house there. But their fans travel well, there will be plenty in Hawaii, but still not as many as if it was closer to their home. 3 years in a row getting to go to Vegas must have been fun... And now Hawaii. Just from a destination aspect, they're winning.
