I, for one, fully intend to, uh *cough* consider safety fully.

As long as the fans don't touch or interact with the Southern Miss. players and coaches, it shouldn't be a problem. I plan on rushing the court from my season ticket seat, just be smart about it.

I paid $75 for 3 tickets this past saturday to get my family to the game. They had a blast though. I'm limited to weekend games, but they had enough fun that we should be able to make most saturday games next year. I should be able to get some season tickets next year.

I will rush to the parking lot to beat the traffic. ;-) just joking. I will stick around for the celebration. I won't rush the court though. Just remember that in Ruston it is a crime to have too much emotion.

Any other word on promotions? We need to celebrate these three seniors, and we need to focus on getting people to the TAC Thursday. I've noticed they've decided to flood facebook with posts and pictures of the three seniors this week. That will be a constant reminder, but I hope we're rolling something out tomorrow. How about a concessions and tickets combo? 4 tickets. 4 nachos. 4 drinks. Or something!

It has less to do with that than it does someone bold enough to start something with 50 people and being dedicated and consistent with it until you have 1000 doing it.

I think there's a tipping point -- but I dont know what it is. Me and my group have tried to start chants all year -- but it only catches with a certain number of people.

If only there were some group of students who were trained to lead cheers. That would really help.
