Good story. IMHO, someone who is going to Alabama Thursday should absolutely take a "FINISH" sign with them and hold it up. Our twelfth man cannot travel Thursday. Those that can take a sign! If you need me to make it, let me know. I will have it ready before you leave for Alabama!! FINISH DAWGS!!
Great read.
That story about Raheem is funny.:laugh:Quote:
On Thursday, White pulled senior Raheem Appleby from the game with less than two minutes left in order for him to get a standing ovation from the crowd.
As White re-watched the film Friday, he caught a glimpse of Appleby's facial expressions as the two hugged.
"He's not sentimental," White says. "He's mad because he's coming out."
Wow. Great article. Now that Buddy Davis has slowed down a bit, Sean Isabella is in a class all by himself.
Isabella is a great follow on twitter. He covers Grambling as well but you get the other side of some of his stories. If you are on twitter you need to follow.
I'm glad there was a mention of Appleby's facial expression when he was taken out of the game. I wondered what was going on at that moment. Now I know.

I always find Isabella's articles interesting and fun to read, even if he writes about us stinking it up every now and then. I'm not sure how he ended up in Monroe, La. but I hope he sticks around a while. It's nice to have good coverage like this. Well done, Sean!
Well, we have to blame the typos on someone...
Isabella writes compelling stories, particularly day-in-the-life accounts such as this one and the signing day/Holtz article. As someone remarked, he puts a lot of time and energy into his writing; then again, it doesn't hurt to have compelling subjects about whom to write. Sean, you're welcome. ;)
